BEAT LEAGUE Privacy Policy (GDPR)
BEAT LEAGUE processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
1. Data controller
The controller for the processing of your personal data is the operator of BEAT LEAGUE as listed in the Imprint.

2. Data we collect
- Authentication identifiers (via third-party identity provider).
- Profile information (username, bio, images).
- Uploaded content metadata.
- Usage and interaction data (e.g. device, browser, approximate location) to improve performance and protect against abuse.
- If you purchase paid features, our payment provider processes payment information and we receive transaction status and subscription metadata (not full card details).
3. Legal basis for processing
We process personal data based on contract performance (to provide the Platform), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and service improvement), and user consent where required.
4. Storage, infrastructure & sharing
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Media files are stored in secure object storage. Access is restricted and logged.
We may share data with trusted processors (e.g. hosting, analytics, payment, and email providers) only to operate the Platform and only under appropriate contractual safeguards.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Public profiles
If enabled, selected profile information is publicly visible. You may disable public visibility where available.
6. Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for Platform operation, to comply with legal obligations, and to resolve disputes.
7. Your rights
Where applicable under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to data portability.
You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
